Safe or not?

Are the sand dollars safe for a reef? Any benefits if we keep them?

You will probably never them once they are introduced...... I think they will consume most of the living things in the sand bed and then slowly starve....at least that is what I've read.

I wondered the same thing when I caught some last year....I never brought them home though....

I have heard of them being kept (one) in a reef tank. Never tried it myself, don't know what they eat, better read up!
