Where should the jumpers on my circuit board be?

I have 40 gallons in the display and 25 gallons in the sump for a system total of 65 gallons . The footprint of the sump is 24" x 24" and it has no baffles. It's just an open sump with no chambers. Maximum height between water level in storage tank and hose end in the sump is 15 inches. I'm not sure how the height factor figures in.

So you are pumping up 15" correct? I want to be sure you are not pumping down as the water will siphon after the pump shuts off. The jumper should be only on the left pin, in fact you could remove it and the result would be the same (3 minute), we just put it on one pin to store it for safe keeping. This set up is really past what a Nano Osmolator is rated to do, if the evaporation is high, it is possible it may not be able to keep up.

Actually I'm pumping up 17" and then the hose goes back down the 17" to the floor and then over to the sump where it's pumped up 14" to the edge of my sump where it is clamped on the rim. I could clamp it on the side of the cabinet higher to prevent siphoning.

So if I remove the jumper (or put it on the left only), would I be able to stop switching the power to it from on to off and back on?

I am getting rid of this 40+25 gallon system and putting the osmolator on a ~40 gallon dt and ~15 gallon sump. The sump is baffled and and has a dedicated chamber for the return pump. Would this be a better fit for this osmolator?

Yes, that would be a better fit, the 3 minute time out must be used on a tank larger than 26 gallons. It should eliminate the need to reset it, especially with the new set up.
