Do you anticipate any more of these? How aggressive are these towards other fairy and flasher wrasses? Any pairs coming? Thanks in advance.

Snorvich,

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we cannot say how aggressive this wrasse would be towards other fairy or flasher wrasse as this is going to vary with each individual fish.
We are checking with our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility regarding the availability of the Sailfin Fairy Wrasse. We will post back once we have that answer available for you.

Steve,

This incredible fish is somewhat new to the aquarium trade and is an undescribed Fairy Wrasse from Malaysia. The fish has been sold in the Divers Den over the last few weeks, but we are currently out of stock on them. As always I will continue to try and obtain more of these fish if they show up again.

The fish is detailed in Scott Michael's new book- Reef Fishes Volume 5- Wrasses & Parrotfishes on page 125 (an incredible book BTW for Labrid fish nuts like the both of us) and resemble both Cirrhilabrus tonozukai and Cirrhilabrus filamentosus in appearance and behavior. These fish are a bit more docile for a Fairy Wrasse when compared to larger more territorial species of Cirrhilabrus.

Cheers!
