Salifert Flatworm Exit for Nudis? Dosing Schedule

Hi can anyone give me some pointers on using FW Exit to kill Zoanthid Eating Nudis?

I have a large frag tank with 100+ frags that need help. I have been dipping with Bayer advanced but can get see to get these suckers gone due to eggs hatching. I hear FW exit works in the tank and this would save me hours and hours of dipping!!

I don't have any Flat worms so I should be in good shape as far as toxins goes.

I've used it! Basically I dosed at twice the recommended dose, then followed the instructions for time, but let it sit just a bit longer, maybe 20 minutes. Do a water change, and use some carbon to help remove any nasties in the water. How many do you have? You will have to dose again roughly two weeks later, as the FWE does not kill the eggs. Basically anything that hatches will need to be killed off. The amount of treatments really depends on your infestation. It's a lot better than dipping tons of frags or if your unable too dip.

Edit...even though you don't have flat worms, the dead nudis could still foul the tank. Manual removal of as many as possible is good too!

I used it as a dip. Not the salifert brand, but what my LFS had which was "Precision Solutions Flatworm Solution".

I experimented by catching a few nudis and seeing the time to kill at different doses. Then due to poor memory and poor math I ended up using 20x the recommended dose. It worked great as a dip! Nudis basically exploded!!! The zoas didn't even notice that I had dipped them :)

I'm looking at 150 gallon system... was hoping to find the lowest dose required in order to reduce cost. This stuff is pricey

Depending on your collection, so is the money and time you put into the collection and grow out. LOL:) I've found that to kill flatworms using there recommended dose did not work...like I said I double it up. Your going to treat at least twice, so try that first. Sometimes less is more. Everyone's system and infestation/problems are different, so it can be really hard to say exactly " use X amount and your golden".
