Salifert Salifert Amino Acids

I have heard some good results from some people I respect so I am gathering info and getting ready to try it. I always do reserch 1st my tank is a SPS domenated tank with some lps and a few softies. I want to try it 1st then if it works well I will stock the product at the lfs I work for. what have you tried and what do you reccomend also is there something better then Salifert. looking at.

It is all so anectdotal that when you try to gather info you just get mumble jumble...albeit I have heard all good things. I am thinking of trying it along with Tropic Marin Pro Coral Elements A and K...I like dumping stuff in my tank too! I would just do it and see how it goes. One thing I have heard as with all things that it can cause slight algae blooms/the browns.

I do use Salifert's Coralline AminoAcids. It's a great product with much to offer. But very easy to over dose. Start with a very conservative dosage, much less then the direction recommends. Also, do not add/mixx simultaneously with other additives so you can observe and isolate ongoing progress for better or worse.

Something to think about: People tend to increase concentration when it appears to be working well. But all good things have a breaking point. Cross this and you get negative results leading you to the wrong conclusion.
