My bulb hydrometer is calibrated at 75 degrees. Does anyone have a conversion chart which would work for it?

Never mind, in rereading Randy's article the differance is so small as to be insignificant. Thanks!

WOW !!

Where did that come from ? It looks like someone, in part, stole the calculator Simon make for me two years ago.

Darkside, you get extra points from me and many free rides for posting that link

DR, that would be correct a 2 F would be meaningless

Thanks darkside that's really neat.

Thanks Randy, reviewing your article and corresponding chart led me to the conclusion that the differance between a hydrometer calibrated at 77 degrees and one calibrated at 75 degrees is slight.

But you have to admit that even the thought process is interesting. Thanks to all!!

It makes a big diference on my hydrometer its calibrated at 60 F
but it was also intended for mixing nitrometane....
I also have a wine one it is also calibrated at 60F

DS, that is on of the first I have heard where one is using a lab hydrometer 15C.

mixing nitrometane

That better be for models or drag racing or you are in trouble with me and loose all points and free rides :D

I think one could say you are into drag racing  I use to run A S/S back in the early 70's, 1970 Nova SS, mid 12's
