Salt Creep

What exactly are you supposed to do with the sheets of salt that build-up on the outside of your tank/sump? I heard that undissolved salt can harm inverts.

i really don't know but a friend of mine scrapes it off into a pale
he's got about 5 now full
just dosn't know if he can use it

I just scrape it off and put it back into the tank. It's fine as long as the undissolved salt doesn't come into direct contact with any inverts
