Couple random questions.

What is the best salt for a reef tank?

What is the best book for identifying saltwater fish?

Thanks,

From our input in the last several months from about 3 of the more serious reefers in the area I gotta say the aquavitro salinity is the best, most balanced salt made on the market, this is just my and a lot of others opinion so I am not looking to debate or get flamed abou this.
Every bucket is tested for all the major and minor elemwents importaqnt to sea life. Then it is printed on the back of every bucket they send out.

For books when it comes to reef/marine fish I would have to say the reef aquarium fishes and the marine fishes by Scott W. Micheal are the best at being honest and getting it to you straight,no beating around the bushes like a lot of sites do! If it is a good fish and is going to do well in a tank they let you know. If not they also let you know!! Just my 2 Christmas pennys!

P.s.s All input is welcome these are only my opinions.:fun2:
Ps

Also please ignore my god awful spelling I posted it before checking it obviously!! LOL.

Must be all of that christmas cheer.!

There are going to be about as many different responses to this as there are types of salt. Everyone has a reason for using one salt over another. But I will say I agree with Scott on the aquavitro being a great salt

The best salt I have ever used IMO was Red Sea Coral Pro until they changed the formula.I had good results with Seachem reef salt as well.I am currently using Instant Ocean and until I have a reason to change then this is what I am going to stick with.

I figured there would be a bunch of different opinions. I was just curious if there was a common brand used by OMAS members. I've tried a few myself and really haven't found one that I really like. Looks like I'm going to give aquavitro a try next go round"¦.

Thanks for the input..
