You're probably going to have to supplement calcium and alkalinity if you're planning on keeping any stony corals, so the big debate on which salt mix is better than the other is probably pretty pointless. If you can get IO for a good price, get that. If you can get Oceanic for a good price. . .you get the idea. By the way, Doctors Foster and Smith may still have their shipping deal going on for salt. You could get one of the 160g mix buckets and pay normal shipping. It was a great deal that I can't imagine any LFS in the country could possibly beat. Anyway, the special may very well be over, but you may want to check them out. . .for that matter, it still may be cheaper even with the full price shipping.
