Salt Mix

Has anyone tried or use the B-Ionic salt mix with the multiple seperate components? I am setting up a new tank and I am trying to figure out what would be the best salt mix to use with ro/di water to fill the tank up with. I have heard a lot of good recommendations for the Tropic Marin Pro reef salt and the D-D H2Ocean salt. And I found the B-Ionic while researching those two and thought I would ask everyones opinions on the three. Thanks for any help/advice.

You may want to check the Chemistry forum. I think there are several threads there discussing the pros and cons of various salt mixes. There is also a pinned thread.

You'll get as many different answers as there are salt mixes. I use Seachem Reef Salt. I found I do not need any supplements except the occasinal calcium or Alk additive. I use Reef Buffer for that. I pay a little extra for the salt mix but then I don't need supplements so I figure it evens out. Good luck.
