Salt not mixing

I'm mixing 18 gallons of saltwater. I have a rio 180 power head. I just looked after about an hour and I have salt crystals floating and there is salt at the bottom of the 20 gal brute trash can. What am I doing wrong?

What kind of salt? Just like a tank it might have a dead spot in the middle. Mix it around with a spatula or something of the sort.

I take my pump by the cord and turn it around to lift the salt out of dead spots. If your salt gets wet and clumps those small clumps can take a long time to dissolve.

I figured it out. I bought tubing, which I thought would help circulate. It just slowed the flow. I took it off and it mixed no problem.
