Salt problems

Iv been using some different salt over the past year and needed some advice. My tank is a 180 gallon SPS dom. tank. I started off using SeaChem but then changed my mind and started using Red Sea Coral Pro. This salt seemed okay but to mix it, it seemed to leave a white powder on the bottom of the mixing tank and I did not like this. So never being pleased I went to BrightWells NeoMarine salt. This salt seemed okay till today when I tested the alk. It tested at 7 dKH. I like to keep my tank running at 9-10 dKH. Does anyone know of a salt that would work better for me? And suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I'm using Marine Environment salt. Alk is at 2.5meq/L and calcium at 400ppm. I keep my dkh around 9/10 also so what i do is dose in thewater change water to bring the levels up. Its better to have a salt on the lower side sou can match tank parameters!
