Whats the best way to get dry, crusty salt off of the trim of a tank?

Just a wet wash cloth in my experience. Maybe a little extra freshwater to dissolve it a bit.

some one had asked me whats the best way to remove salt deposits from the trim and my first thought was...well you wipe it off. Im wondering if they dont have calcium build up. I figured using some vinegar may do the trick.

works especially well on acrylic tanks LOL

....& a benefit of this method is it doesn't scratch the glass or acrylic like other methods :rollface:
