Salt Water and Septic Tanks

Should I dispose of my old tank water down the drain into my septic tank. Anyoe ever had any problems?

I lived in Alabama 3.5 years with a septic system and two 125 gallon tanks, a reef and an agressive. I changed 25 gallons per week on the reef and 50 gallons per week on the agressive. All went down the septic. If I had problems, I didn't know it.
