Saltwater Smell !!!

Does anyone have a problem with the smell of their saltwater tank? I was wondering if this is normal or am I doing something wrong..

some corals are dying/bleeding in your tank? is this in cycle period or being run for long time? If it's during cycle, it will be gone in a few days. If it's during norming up and running tank then short solution is to add activate carbon filter the smell and find a root cause why there's smell, very likely some corals/mushrooms are dying or bleeding...

great thanks, it is coming out of its cycle i hope there is still a little bit of diatoms lingering around.

yes I have always been told to add carbon for the smell... gotta a gixxer loven them track days

It reminds me of the smell of Victory! Flashback....sorry.

i put a pice of carbon filter pad in one of my baffles in sump, that would get rid of any smell.
