Hi Guys,

Jeromy from Shoreline has invited ARKSC members to attend his event in Old Saybrook. Looks like a fun event.

See details below.

Peter, did we meet briefly in the fishroom?

While I didn't win anything other than a door-prize ditty-bag filled with "Purple-up" and frag plugs and things, I still found it to be a fun evening. Great to meet folks, share and learn with fellow reefers, see new things ... and pick up a few!

Scored a couple of buckets of RSCP, some "Rod's" and "Formula One/Two" frozen foods, along with an orange-back fairy wrasse, a couple of blennies and a big pink turd. (Holothuria edulis - pink edible sea cucumber, which I don't plan to eat . . .) Jeromy was an excellent host for the event, and his staff performed amazing feats of customer service and fish wrangling all night long.

On the way up, stopped in to visit with Bob at Exotic Fish & Coral, where I scored the tuxedo urchin I've been looking out for - nifty model with red spines. His shop is coming along nicely, with a second frag tray up and running, and a nice selection of fish, some of which (triple-tailed, rose-breasted wrasse?) were like nothing I'd ever seen.
