Hi all,
We had a great time at Saltwater U3 this weekend. We got to hang out with Tim (Luckyfish) and his wife, Laurie which was really fun. We heard a great talk on flow and some neat ideas to get a lot of flow for a relatively low cost which we hope to share with the club. We saw Calfo frag, he's very entertaining and a bit long-winded (talked an hour over his appointed time!), but definitely not boring. We saw a very informative talk on photography.
All the talks were really good, but the raffle was the tops for us! We won a 72 gallon bow front aquarium, a Euroreef protein skimmer, a signed copy of Eric Borneman's book "Coral", and an assortment of additives, food, and salt. Overall we had a fantastic weekend! Next year, MACNA is going to be there and it would be a really fun club trip.
