i dont know what their shipping is, but normally you gotta buy like $80 worth of livestock and then you get free shipping, so there is kind of a minimum order for them

i wont shop there anymore, because i posted on their message boards, and i sent someone a link to a thread here, and i got banned.
they have a strict, no links to other sites type of deal because they are a lfs and dont want competition. i think its stupid and they should use advertising like here, but whatever.

How are they those who have ordered?

I have made 3 orders from them. First fish order, all fish died eventually, some died right away. I had to send 2 clown fish that died back to them. They did give me credit for my next order. I then made another order and most of those fish died. I only have 1 clownfish left out of like 6 fish. the one that lived is the only one that lived over a month. My third order was coral. I was very happy with that order. I don't think I will ever order fish online again from any vendor. I will order coral though. I think shipping doesn't stress coral like does fish. Just my opinion. BTW Saltwaterfish.com message board is very helpful. There search option is great and works for me unlike this site.

You have to have a minimun order of $79 and they claim you get free shipping, but they charge a $9.99 handeling fee and then a $7.00 temporary fuel charge. If you have any questions or if anything goes wrong you only have one form of communication, e-mail. They have no phone number, not even if you e-mail them asking for one.

I placed an order with them a while back, and was fairly pleased...
I orderd 2 letuce nudis, a small yellow tang, and 2 goldline neon gobies, a blueline neon gobie and an orange ricordia...
I liked my order..
I lost one of the goldlines and sent it back... never got a reply or anything...
the yellow tang died because of a bad powerhead
and the luttuce nudis disappeared ... I think powerheads or overflow...
HOWEVER, I did get two very nice healthy neon gobies and a beautiful orange ricordia out of it in the end...
Ive propagated the ric twice and its doing wonderfully!
my Gobies are my favorite fish Ive ever bought... besides my Achilles tang...
The bad thing with them is NO PHONE, and bad customer service...
they do have a 15 day guarentee though! haha
overall I give them a 7 out of 10
I just made an order with Sharkys Reef and AM EXTREMELY PLEASED!!!
shipping was 50 bucks though..
but their stuff is great!

I ordered an AWSOME gorg .. which is doing nicely
a Fromia Monilis, a SWEET ACAN LORD and a true Blue Florida Ricordia... which is awsome.. and They sent me 2 freebees... a really really orange ricordia and another blue one!!!
they are SUPER SUPER great on customer service, and acctually asked me when I would like my order shipped .. that REALLY WORKED OUT FOR ME!!!! and also, they let me sub out one of my items for another... which was the Acan Lord and Im very pleased with it... Blue and Red stripped... Now Im looking for a Candy Cane color Acan Lord!!

I ordered an orchid dottyback, 3 PJ cards and a flame angel from SWF.com and am very pleased so far. I put them in the tank only 5 days ago, but they all look great and everyone started eating right away. The cardinals were smaller than I expected, but they'll grow up. Probably acclimate better long term being so young. Shipping was exactly as they said it would be, arrived right on time and everyone was safely packed.
That does suck that you got banned for linking to here, GFK. Does it say in their rules not to do that? I'm a mod on another (non fish) board and I know that sometimes a rule will seem stupid if you don't know the reason for it, but there probably is a reason. It may very well be the competition thing, or it may be something else. I'm surprised they'd ban you for a one time mistake, though. That's pretty harsh.
The lack of an advertised phone number did give me pause, as well as the fact that I sent a "test email" and they failed miserably (never replied to my ?). I only went ahead and ordered from them because they had been recommended by someone I know locally, and people on the message board seemed to have had good experiences (except with returning emails). Someone on their message board actually did post a phone number for them, but I didn't try calling it.
