Well, all the rock and fish are from my old 45g cube which was 24x24x18. I made the tank myself and just wasn't happy with it anymore, not to mention I didn't do that great a job w/ the silicone, so I don't know how much longer it would've held up. New tank (which is actually 1 of 2) is a 50g Aqueon, 36x18x18. Much better dimensions in my eyes. I'm only half done right now, I have the 2nd tank to put right next to this one and both will share the same sump and skimmer. It'll be much easier! Anyway, I'm trying pillars in this one. I used 1/2" cpvc that I painted with krylon. The pics are a little cloudy, the dust from the sand that I put in is still clearing, even though I rinsed the crud out of it. I'm going to finish the two stands (once they're secured together) with cabinet face frames and doors that match up with the rest of my house. Anyway, here's 2 pics to get started.
