Sand bugs??/problem?

My son noticed that against the glass in the sand bed were small tunnels running vertically in the sand. He said he could swear that he see's small worms/bug that stays in the tunnel. I can't get a picture of these things, but I am getting old and don't see them.

Any idea of what they may be?

Bristle Worms the only thing I can think of that look like a worm in the sand.

I believe it would be bristle Worms but if you can try to take a picture to help us ID

It's probably a combination of pods and bristleworms. I have seen my pods take the bristleworm trails under my substrate. soon you will see so many pods it will look like an infestation lol
