Sand choices....hmmm

In planning the new 90, I have the sand built but not stained. The canopy is next. Went to FAIOS, a LFS, and bought 2 250 Ice Cap ballasts, SLS Lumen Max2 reflectors, sump, socks, external pump and now I am ready to think about sand. So with that being said, does everyone buy one type of sand or do you mix up different types ie; pink, crushed, fine, etc

here is a link with a few selections http://www.marinedepot.com/aquarium...sea.asp?CartId=

Suggestions please....

Keep the sand at least 4" average depth if not greater to get the most benefit from having it in the tank. Oolotic or sugar fine sand also provide the best benefits. Larger or more coarse sand will trap too much detritus. I have read that the black sand will look dirty quickly.
