flow is good..generally i like to have enough indirect flow to keep my sand bed clean..and while having SPS and LPS im thinking you can acheive enough flow for this..in my 40 breeder i have an MP10 and a koralia 4..this is enough to keep my sand bed free of detritus for the most part..-Drew

My sand sifting star hs not climbed up my rocks at all. The Naussarius snails are the same way. They come out of the sand when I feed Rods food and that is it. I'm going to get more when I get a chance.

Cucumbers work great and dont nuke tanks. I have 3 of them that are getting huge. Sand sifting starfish and nassarius snails work great also, you just dont see any of these guys during the day that much.

I read that the medusa worms can and they are similar to a cucumber....

Sand-sifter stars & fish are not recommended for reef tanks. They eat all the good creatures in your sand bed. I am thrilled with the surface sand clean up job the black cuke does in my 90g & 40g tanks.

yea more nassarius, i have at least 10 in my 24 gal. flow helps too so that things dont really settle on the sand and keep the sand turning
