Sand depth and type for M.Doreensis,H.crispa

I am thinking of adding sand back to my BB tank so I could keep one of these anemones. I was hoping to add no more than 2" of medium fine sand. Will this work or not?

I agree with that. Depending upon the size of the specimen, anywhere from 3-6" may be necessary, with anywhere in between usually working fine. Also keep in mind that H. crispa can and does often settle happily into rock crevices that can completely conceal its foot.
