Sand Eel/Sand Lance-Good Feeders?

Are sand eels/sand laces a healthy part of a diet for lions/scorps or no?

I know the best diet is a varied diet but between silversides and sand lances are they about the same nutrition value, one better than the other, or would a good mix between the two (and other different foods) be good?

I'd mix them up. I like the size of lancefish, as if you cut them up, they make smaller bites for feeding smaller fish, but most of the time (here anyhow), I haven't seen them look too good in the LFS due to being thawed and refrozen, so they sit there and get old. We're really picky about inspecting the food we buy for our fish.

I was thinking on doing an order from http://jehmco.com/html/frozen.html, as I've heard nothing but good things about them before and they've got pretty good prices.

I've never really seen/heard of them in any of my LFS so wasn't too sure on their nutritional values.
