Sand in clam

My new Crocea has buried itself pretty deep in the sand bed. Should I be worried about the sand that is on him? he has some pretty close to his intake area. Will anything happen if he inhales some sand? He is attached so I dont think I can really do anything anyways. What do you guys think?

need to seei f he is attached to your glass bottom....if not pull him up and put a small piece of flat live rock or a half shell about a .5" under surface and he'll attach his foot to that instead of to the tank and bury himself(he just wants to mount)
