Anyone ever find any sand locally?

I am talking about the Southdown or Tropical something..... I do not remember the name it switched to.

I need a bag to refill my DSB.

None at Home Depot or Canton nursery.

Thanks

Quickrete sand is what I have in my display. Some people are scared of it because it is silica sand but I think the silica in my glass has been OK in my aquarium so far :D

If you have sand already there then it should become live very quickly if you just top off and stir the top layer around slightly.

LOL i started that "where can i get southdown/oldcastle?" thread 1 year ago exactly

Never did find it. Kevin gave me some sand, and then dennis gave me a bag of live sand. I could probably spare some live if needed Radicaljbr

I finally got my new sump/fuge put together and I need it to start up the fuge. The fuge is 14x8 and I am wanting to make it around 6" deep.

Right now I have some LR down there and already there are a ton of copods and my macro is taking off. Almost hate to ruin the copods home, but the crap is starting to collect at the bottom and need the DSB.

I would love any donations or cheap sand. I had 10 bags of the southdown or Tropical sand from North Canton nursery, but donated the few remaining bags I had and of course now you cannot find it. I guess North Canton stopped carrying it.
