Sand on fungia

My fungia keeps getting sand on it, like a lot of sand. It's in a low flow area so something must be throwing sand at it. I think it may be the yellowtail damsel doing it, which I need to catch and trade in. He's a pain.

Anyways, should I dust it off or let it be?

If it's a lot of sand then you should probably remove it, but a small amount isn't going to hurt the coral. These corals are able to cleanse themselves if need be. GL.
