Hi everyone!
I have a RSM 250, this is my first saltwater tank. I've filled it up with osmosis water and put in the live rocks. The next step for me was to put in the sand. As soon as I did that the water became very milky..
The reef sand had small bio magnet bags to clear the water.. but since it doesn't say what they contain I didn't use them, are they harmful?
Ok now to the problem.. I bought a Tunze 6065 Jetstream yesterday, I figured the stones could use some extra circulation while they grow bacterias.. But the jettream is making holes in my sand.. even if I put the jet stream facing up, it just bounces down and pushes the sand away.. Anyone has a trick to avoid this ?
This is my tank before the sand got it
