Sand Question!

Hello!


Well Ive got a question about my clam and the sand. Its a crocea, and Ive got him in the sand, he seems pretty happy, but what my question is that I have a sand-sifting sea star and a bunch of nassarius snails so will they bother his foot in the sand as they are cruising around?? Should I be worried? I never thought about it until I fed the tank and they all came out to eat..

Oh and should I put something under his foot? I just have him plopped in the sand..
