Sand? Southdown

is there any stores around here that sell sand similiar to southdown, to use in a reef tank?

I've asked Home Depot, Lowes and Menards in Des Moines and they've never heard of it, all of them carry the silica sand only and they have no idea what I mean by araganite sand.

Well, back in the day I special ordered it from the Home Depot in CR but they said they probably wouldn't do it again cause I begged and pleaded with them to buy 21 bags. I told them they should stock it as a regular item as it would be sold as soon as it came in but they didn't listen to me

Here's what the drill looked like when I did this.

I needed to know the precise store of where they had southdown. In my case it was some store in wisconsin. I don't have the store info anymore but I could probably dig it up just to give you an idea. I had to know the special order SKU# for it and then I had to place a large order in. It was tough to get someone who is willing to do this for you cause well they don't get paid anymore if they do help. So it is often hard to find someone who is willing to help ya.

probably just 1 or 2

If I remember correctly the area that southdown was collected got bought out by an aquarium sand company and southdown is no longer available.
