does anybody have some info for me to remove some sand from my tank?with out makeing a spike of anything?just don't won't that much sand anymore. thank
Just siphon it out. Get 3/4 ID tubing and remove as much as you need to. I don't think you will cause any problems if you are simply removing a portion of the sand bed.
I've done this plenty of times with no ill effects. As long as you simply siphon it out and dont stir up any large areas into the water column you will be fine.
