sarcothelia beautifull or a pest??? someone wants to give me a frag from these species to grow between my corals... shall i do it or do i advoid this coral??:headwally:

While it does look nice when it's filling in the gaps, I would avoid this coral at all costs. They're just too hard to control and eventually you'll have small patches popping up all over your tank. If that's what you want then by all means go right ahead, but you might want to reconsider this gift. :thumbdown

the intentions were to filling the places between the softs because it is looking nice anyway... so now i have doubts to use this....
 
If you only have soft corals I'd go for it but if you have lps or sps I wouldn't (and that includes if you might want then in the future as you'd likely never get rid of it).
 
okay thx.... yes i have only soft corals en i placed on a fragstone on the sand it will be easier to have under controll
 
I've had some on its own rock island for a few months and haven't seen it pop up anywhere else in the tank. I think it looks good in mass.
