Sargassum nudibranch?

Does anyone know about these things? I just did a google search on them and all I'm finding are like biological journals about people going "this algae bed has to have at least 80 species of nudibranchs" or something like that. Does anyone know if they're a viable creature for the aquarium if provided with sargassum or whatever they feed on?

Are you talking Scyllaea pelagica? If so, they feed on specific hydroids. Unless you have a steady supply of hydroid covered Sargassum for them to feed from they aren't any better suited to captivity than any other nudibranch.

Ahhh... ok I was trying to find that out because all I was finding was the nudibranchs in sargassum. Ok, so hydroids... would I have to culture them in my fuge then?

I don't even know if they can be cultured. The ones this species feeds on are reported to be Laomedea dichotoma, which grows on floating debris like sargassum or trash. The first step would be getting the right hydroids.
