Satalite Sump

Hey yal been a while since I posted but I had a question that seems like I should know the answer but I don't for sure.

I am designing a build that utilized two display tanks and one sump. The diplay tanks will be the CAD light 50 cube and will go on the night stands on ither side of my bed. I am thinking putting the sump at the end of the bed in a storage chest that many use for pillows and blankets and such. this way I have full access by opening the top of the chest.

My question is this, how do I insure that the water gets to the sump. Do I just rely on gravity from the syphin or is there something that I am missing. I do not want my return pump to over power the syphin and overflow the tank. Thanks for any help.0

You will need to size your drains appropriately to the amount of water your return pump is providing, but yes you simply use gravity to take the water from the display tanks back to the sump. It is a very good idea to also run an emergency drain from each tank back to your sump.
