Saturday Meetings

There was some positive feedback about Saturday meetings. Can everyone post their thoughts here?

I liked it, I thought it was nice to be able to have a meeting where everyone could get together and not feel rushed on getting done so they could drive home.

It was my first meeting and it was nice having the opportunity to talk to people in the hobby. I met some great people and learned a lot. I plan on going to the next meeting / event assuming my schedule and wife allow me ;o)

P.S. Shes even interested in doing the aquarium tours so maybe I can get her join too!

I liked the Saturday meetings better than Sunday. As for content, I thought we were going to update the website that night? It still has the old look. When is the estimated turnover for the new site?

Saturdays kill me I would love to come to meeting but I second the later in the afternoon or I can't come.

After today I'd just like to say that Saturdays are much better than sundays. Sucks getting home at 8:00 at night on a Sunday!

^^you drive slow, lol. I was home in time to shovel and walk the dogs before it got dark.

I liked the meeting, a lot of great information. I had no idea that frog fish were reef safe! time/day was fine too. I am pretty flexible in that respect.

The meetings are pretty random right now since we have had some cancelations and such. We try to rotate between Iowa City and Des Moines. Normally they are on the first Sunday of the Month. Keep your eye on this forum for more information on upcoming meetings. Our next meeting is Saturday March 18th in Coralville. It will start at 12 noon sharp. We are flying a coral expert from Philadelphia to speak to us on the husbandry of corals.

I am fine with Saturdays or Sundays. If I have to choose one I choose Saturday.
