Saving a Star Poly Frag from the lfs :D

I absolutly love GSP and pulsing xenia, works out great for me that so many people dont like it

Me too, most people (not reefers) that look at my tank like the gsp and xenia. I have a lot of beautiful coral lps, sps, and softies but its the gsp and waving xenia people like. I have a large bubble, a true show piece favite. Many colorful zoos.

doesnt look like much saving was done, or much growth has occurred...the first pic is of it pretty near closed and the last pic is it fully open...doesnt look like it has grown much, but it does look considerably happier then it did in the first pic...hit it with a turkey baster and get it to close up then you will know for sure that it is growing...but being as open as it is i am sure it is growing...and 5 bucks is pretty reasonable for any size piece of this coral...my buddy gives away 4x4" sheets of this stuff for about 5-10 bucks...

that post like most of your posts was worthwhile and informative....

no one commented on the growth of the frag. to me the coral looks no different in size or health from first pic to the last...only thing that appeared to change is the polyps opened...and he got a fair price on it, not a great one by any means...none-the-less the coral looks happy and should over take his tank in no time...LOL keep it on an island or the glass, that way fragging it is very easy....and it will have a hard time over taking prized corals...

It has grown plenty trust me.I dont know why people have to be so rude and opinionated on here.It was at the lfs and covered with algae and decaying so its ok think what you want.Cheers

Yea i know.I already know everything their telling me i have been in this hobby for awhile now.If you cant see growth in the newer pics and decay in the older ones idk what to tell ya bud lol

Yea my avatar pic if of the whole tank.Or if you look at the small album i have on my profile you can see it.Its just a 12 gallon nano
