Sc aquarium packages

i can tell you that the tanks are top notch! as for the sump desing some people are not a fan. i have had 2 tanks from them a 150 and a 66 and they are awesome. there is a sc aquariums owners thread on here that has good info in it!

in all honesty i dont know that you will find a better package unless a lfs has a setupthey put togeather. the only thing i know is people say the cabinets could be a little bigger... this is why i buy there tanks but build my stands

The tanks alone are pricey - it seems that you get a lot in the package, but if you bought the parts individually it would be a lot more money.

The tanks alone are reasonably priced for what you get. The stand is very crappy MDF, not worth much at all, I did lots of work to try and see if I can keep my stand lasting for a while. The skimmer is _okay_, and the return pump is crap. I modified my sump to make it to my liking...and had to expand the bulkhead hole in the tank to fit a 3/4in bulkhead/
What I am trying to say, the reason you get a lot of stuff in the package is because the stuff you get is only so so. In most cases you get what you pay for.
I don't have any regrets with my setup, but don't expect the same quality as a lot of more expensive setup's.

Another option is Cad Lights they have a facility in New York so it maybe close enough to pick up.

I've been seriously looking at the Cad Lights myself and keep comparing to SC.

Both good tanks, Cad Light does offer a better stand, but it is a upgrade so it cost more.
