SCA Sump question

I'm in the process of setting up my SCA 150 gal and have a question about their sump design. I'm guessing they want you to use the very left chamber as the display overflow and the last as the return pump chamber. This leaves the refugium much smaller than I'd like and the skimmer right next to the return pump. Could/should I move the second baffle closer to the first to expand the refugium? If I did this i'm thinking i could use the very right chamber as my display overflow and very left for my return.

Newbie to sumps and sump design, let me know any thoughts/suggestions.

Thanks!

Jayball,

Any chance you have a pic of how you ended up setting yours up?

I'm torn now between putting the refugium in the middle chamber or on the outside.

Turn it around, and remove the baffle that splits the two Refugiums or keep them.

I agree with this, keep the skimmer where it is. where they show the return compartment, make this the drain. Where they show the current drain compartment, make that the return. Then move the small baffle in the other two to the left and make that your fuge.

I also removed all my baffles and made my sump my own, but I have the 50 so its more of a cube sump and was able to reuse the included glass in my configuration
