scallop o scallop let down your tentacle

I love mollusks and I really want to get a clam (scallop) so i have a few questions. How hard is a flame scallop, Does it move a lot, what and how do i feed them.:mixed:

i have heard that flame scallops are a bad choice they rarely survive more than a year in a tank and most of the time in a very short time i am no expert but do some research on them and wait for a expert before jumping in

dont do it. i did all the research i could before i bought my flame scallop and it did not pay off at all. mine lasted a month in my tank. they just always need to be fed and aquariums cant provide enough food for them all the time. it always moved around the tank looking for more flow i guess. no matter how hard you try and how much you research, it wont work.
