Scape Thoughts...

50 cube 24x24x20, wanting thoughts on my scape. Nothing is glued yet, I've done a couple moc ups now. This one should allow for good flow through the rocks. Concept is not so much of a cave as it is a canyon of sorts. This is roughly 50lbs of life rock. I have live rock that will go in my sump.

This will be a mixed reef, sps, lps, softies.

Would appreciate thoughts, changes, etc.

Thanks guys, I epoxy'd some of the chunks together so I can put it together easy in my tank but with no worries of collapse.

Build thread coming soon.

looks great. Good luck keeping the structure exactly the same when you glue it together. I failed miserably when I did my rock work last week

I just did the rocks for my 60 cube. I used drive way reflectors and a drill. I slid the pieces on the rod. Made rock building a lot easier. When I tried the water weld the rocks never held. And each time I came up with completely different scapes. Once it was drilled and the rods in place it was one solid piece that went right in the tank.

Here is my final product, changed it up some. Top rock will almost break the water surface. Rock is all epoxy'd together now. Going to let it cure a few days now.

It's amazing how it changes your point of view once in the tank. I still really like it. Some day I will have my 150 cube!
