Scarface and Belladonna Placement

As the title says just received a scarface and belladonna frag. Looking for info on placement, flow, lighting and such. Thanks in advance

Tank specs? Lighting? and the individuals lighting it came from ?

Under my T5 and 250w MH I leave my scarface on the bottom and my belladonna are actually placed in indirect light. Without the blue led my scarface don't look as pretty as they did at WWC but they are not fading either. Both have a fair amount of flow since they are sitting in the undertow area of my mp60.

I have a 60 cube with and Iwaki 40rlt closed loop, and two Koralia 750's. I have a DIY LED light 36- 3 watt chips. Frags came from a tank with t-5's

Are you sure they weren't under halides? They were towards the bottom on my tank the scarfaces seem to do better with a little more light than the belladonnas in my tank at least but they were both placed low

Yes must have been halides, I must of been thinking of some other pieces that came from t-5s

Just a little update. I have both frags on my sand bed. The belladonnas are opening, and the scarface are looking like they want to start opening. As per Rich suggested I will try moving them a couple inches up and see how they do.

What does this mean? If you have LED and I have MH our "medium" is going to mean something completely different. Same with flow.

It means someone looked at a chart and is probably trying to get their post count up....

Generally I put any frag on the sand bed for a couple days and move it where I think it will do well in my system and I sold the frags to the op as far as metal halides and LEDs the spectrum is definitely different the intensity on LEDs and metal halides should be somewhat similar if you are trying to grow coral and not burn it , bleach it , etc

Yes I have both in the sand bed of my tank right now. Both have opened and are looking great. Thanks for the great frags Rich850
