im looking to get some schooling fish into my tank. i have 1 chomis and ill probably add 2 or 3 more but im just curious of others.. besides cardinals.

In smaller tanks schooling the fish is hard. Its best to add them at the same time but you may endup with only 1 or 2 whene its over.

55 ,75 ,100 . Dont really know the minimum but the fish if not givin enough space will kill off the weaker ones , i guess for better realistate and food source.
It maybe possible but not fair on the fish.Plus with so many fish to choose from why settle on 1 type . Chalk bass are cool and this site has fish that little is known about and you could help introduce a new fish to the hobby.

um i just dont like the look of the cardinal species. its just my personal preference of their appearance. nothing against them tho.

With freshwater aquariums, I found that schooling fish (ie tetras) really only would school in the long run if there were a bigger, slightly aggressive fish around. Unfortunately, I have no recommendation as far as saltwater schooling fish. Maybe you want to get a pistol shrimp and goby who will be freinds instead?
