Thanks. good to know. How long did it take you to get it dialed in? Also, have you ever had a need for any type of service? I've read from other Schuran owners that getting service is almost impossible.

Setting up at my JS1 was frustrating at first because I did not have a peri pump, after I used such device, it was pretty quick. Ewan's thread helped me as well as I asked many JS owners for help. I highly recommend utilizing a peri pump when using this type of RX.
I never have to service mine as of yet...knocked on wood..lol! I have had this RX for at least 3 years or so without issue.

It's too bad about the parts for the schuran. I love mine. It's a great piece of equipment. I couldn't imagine a 'cheap' part for a deltec, elos, h&S either. I've already replaced 2 reactors because they required repair. Having to replace an expensive part, knowing that it could fail again, is why people end up owning more than one reactor in this hobby. I honestly think that my jetstream will outlast the other 2 by tenfold at least. That being said, accidents happen.

Back when I first got my jetstream, I emailed Schuran several times, and I always received prompt and courteous replies. I dealt with Simon Handeck, and he was outstanding! I've asked them for PDF manuals a few times for people that have pm'd me, and they've always been quick to reply. It's really too bad that others didn't have the same experience that I had.

To be honest, I bought my jetstream when they were in the clearance section of PA as well. $299 is a sweet price for such a robust reactor. The acrylic work is beautiful, and the design is very clean.

Jetstream reactors IMHO are the best CARX on the market. They are difficult without a peri pump but once you get it the reactor is an act of god.
