schuran magnet

Has anyone out there tried the huge schuran megamagnet for cleaning large tanks? It is on 4 wheels and rolls across the outside. I just ordered one for a large tank with 2.5" thick acrylic and I was wondering if it will work well with that thick of acrylic. It is pretty impressive and if this does not work I am not sure what I will use. The tank is 72" tall acrylic and about 12' long so it will be really hard to clean with a scrubber.
If you have tried one, what do you think about the attached scraper blades vs. the scrubber pad that it comes with?
