Hey Chris, your canopy and cabinet are done!
Now that it's finished, thought I'd share a pic.

This is designed for an AP 24 custom built to his specifications.

Yes Shane it's all my handy work. It's made of 3/4" finished plywood which is also load bearing (no inside bracing) with 3/4" top and base. The top of the cabinet has the same front bow as the AP. The doors are custom made from raw 1 x 8 pine and I even had to make some of the trim to cover the corner seams.

And thanks Pacific Reefs. I'm contemplating opening a shop dedicated to aquarium furniture. I just don't know if there's that good of a market. This cabinet and canopy cost a lot more than what the AP would cost, but you get what you pay for.

Looks very nice. I really like the way you did the top board on the canopy. It gives it a really clean look and ties everything together.

I built the stand and canopy on my 150. Same thing, it was more expensice to build than buy a cheap one, but in the end, the product is so much better looking.
