Science fair project help

hey guys,

I'm gonna be testing some stuff on corals for the project. My big problem is, i need corals that will eat readily and are very cheap. my budget is about $45 and I need about 16 corals for proper experimentation. I need either sps or lps corals (I'm gonna post this to the sps keepers forum). dont worry i feed my tank.

Now, here's my parameters:

the tank is already an sps tank.

alk 8-9 test isnt very accurate and im not good at reading it.

lights 20,000k leds
10 gallon sump w/ refugium
mandarin goby
its a 40 gallon tank


so, where in the north Dallas area can I get some cheap corals?

getting 16 corals for 45 might be hard to do. I think you best bet will be to find someone local who has some that grows like a week who will either give to you or sell cheap.

Have you checked with your local reef club?

GSP is always a good choice. just use separate frags of the same colony of GSP instead of 16 different corals.
