Scoly ejected polyp

So my scoly threw its polyp off. Is there any coming back from this? If so what can I do to give it the best odds of surviving?

Did it totally detach from the skeleton? If so, you could try keeping the flesh in a small hollow of a rock or its old skeleton. It may be necessary lightly tying it down with a string. If it's still able to eat you it may be able to form a new skeleton. You also need to find out what caused it to bail out. I'd suspect there's something wrong with the parameters/lighting.
