The dorsal fin is how to identify and it is a male. You are aware of their eating habits?

And dont let the name confuse you. This isnt a blenny.

Yes I am and I definitely bought him prematurely.. But my tank has become more established and I have a great number of pods in my sump so he has gained a lot weight.. Not to mentioned he eats frozen food also which is a plus.. What did you mean by your last comment?

My last comment means it isnt actually a blenny. Its a dragonette. I purchased a scooter as my first fish and didnt know it was part of the dragonette family.

Thats good he is eating frozen food.

May or may not. Its a toss of the dice. If they are both male, most likely they wont. You can tell if its male by the dorsal fin also. The dorsal fin will be longer on males
