i've had this guy for a year now. i've purchased it as a scooter blenny. since i've been told its a mother sailfin dragonet (due to the bright blue spots on his face and fins-top and bottom )
i've been told its a starry dragonet because of the red tail. and theres a few other names i cant recall.
he displays bright blues, pinks, purples along with green, yellow, brown, tan,and white. he changes his colors at the drop of a hat to match his surroundings.
heres the mothersailfin on liveaquaria Neosynchiropus ocellatus.

is this what i have? his top fin looks identical and the blue spots also.
it says its a rare find, i dont care either way, but i'd like to know for sure. mothersailfin? scooterblenny or starry dragonet?
he doestnt put his front fin up very often, but its alot taller than the one behind it.
in the pic's it looks almost nonexistant, but it is there. it has 4 bright blue eyespots, just like the one on live aquaria.com
in the first of the 3 pics, you can see it. its almost 1" long/tall (2.5" fish)
