Scraped Coraline & Eye Candy (pic intense)

I scraped my back glass in hopes that maybe some coralline will die and I might be able to get a better handle on my alk consumption. I figured since the tank was nice and clean and new'ish looking and because I had a lot of new frags, that I would snap a bunch of pictures to document the tank at ~1yr.

Crusted overflow and xenia covered return pipes...not so invisible now that the coralline is gone...

Looking very good. Looks like a healthy tank for sure. Your Xenias are loving those pipes.

Oops, forgot one...

This is the basket star that hitchhiked on one of Emperor's Florida rocks in the 40B. It opens up every time we feed or stir up sediment and has been here for over a month. It will be interesting to see how long this guy sticks around given their typical survival rate.
